Recommended guidelines for improving the Pace of Play.

Set a maximum time for players to take their shots, typically around 40 seconds for a shot.

Do a lot of the things at the next hole. Instead of right after the hole, where everyone including the flight behind is waiting, you can do the following at the next hole:
- Clean clubs
- Clean balls
- Write scores down
- Put clubs into the bag when buggy-mate is ready to go
Do all these at the next hole.

Players should be ready to move to their next shot or hole as soon as it's their turn.

If using golf carts, players should drive to their ball and then walk to their partner's ball if itโs in the same direction, rather than returning to the cart.

A helpful rule of thumb to gauge your pace is to ensure you maintain good visual contact with the group ahead at all times.

โข If the playing time of an entire flight exceeds the Maximum Allowance Time (M.A.T.) the whole flight will be Disqualified.
โข Disqualification will be automatically enforced upon the expiration of the M.A.T. without a prior notice.
